Funeral Services are 2:00 O'Clock PM Sunday 4/3/11 at Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Hartzell officiating. Inurnment will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Mrs. Darby was born August 12, 1916 in Memphis, Tn. to the late Clifford & Emma Holt Hartzell. Sarah was a retired school teacher and a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church. During her teaching career she started teaching at Independence School, Pope School and West Panola Academy. She taught school for 35 years. Survivors are a Son: Jack Wayne Darby (Bess)- Courtland, Ms.; Two Grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth "Liz" Darby Wilson and Cindy Darby Armstrong; Four Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 O'Clock PM Sunday 4/3/11 until service time 2:00 O'Clock PM at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Darby was preceeded in death by her Husband, Parents, Two Sisters: Frances Hartzell Sullivant and Viginia Hartzell Herron; Two Brothers: Clifford and Jack Hartzell.
