William Baxter Tatum, Jr.

William "Bill" Baxter Tatum, Jr. age 77, passed away in his home in Memphis, TN on Thursday, March 1, 2012. A graveside service will be held at Browning Cemetery, Taylor, MS at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, 3/17/12, with Reverend Bill Pearce presiding. Mr. Tatum was born in Taylor, MS on Sept. 8, 1934 to William Baxter & Connie Mae Smith Tatum. He was a retired accountant in the hotel industry. Bill resided in Memphis, TN for the past 45 years. He was a member of Rugby Hills Baptist Church and a graduate of Humes High School. He is survived by his sister, Darby Kay Anderson of Walls, MS; a niece, Deborah Kay Anderson of Indianapolis, IN; 2 nephews, Billy Anderson and Michael Anderson of Southaven, MS.
