Darrell Glen Jenkins

Darrell Jenkins, age 48, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Quitman County Hospital in Marks, MS. A memorial service for Darrell will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 3/3/13, at the First United Methodist Church, Batesville with Rev. Rusty Miller, Rev. Vincent Clay and Mr. Jamie Smith presiding. The family will receieve friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the church. Darrell was born in West Memphis, Arkansas on January 25, 1965, to Mike & Barbara Patton Jenkins. He graduated from South Panola High School in 1983. Mr. Jenkins worked for Donnie Miller Livestock of Starkville, MS as a truck driver. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Batesville. He is survived by his loving wife, Windy Lauderdale Jenkins of Batesville, 2 daughters, Allyson Jenkins and Jenna "GiGi" Jenkins both of Batesville, a sister, Tajuana Grissom (Rick) of Ashland, MS, 2 brothers, Kevin Jenkins (Samantha) of Olive Branch, MS, Carl Jenkins (Dina) of Batesville, MS, 2 grandchildren, Jayda & Kyson Jenkins. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
