George B. Odom

George B. Odom, age 73, passed away Sunday morning, June 9, 2013 at Landmark Hospital in Columbia, MO. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Pittman presiding. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. George was born to Nicolas George & Mary Hopson Grots Odom on July 4, 1939 in Osceola, AR. Mr. Odom was a member of Lovejoy United Methodist Church, Pope, MS. His survivors include 2 daughters, Mary Elizabeth Hernandezrendon and Dottie Kitty Parker both of Coluubia, MO; son, George Berry Odom, Jr. of Kennett, MO; step-daughter, Jackie Martin of Ft. Smith, AR; step-son, Teddy Martin of Southaven, MS; 14 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Martin Odom. Those serviing as pallbearers: Teddy Martin, Barry Odom, Homer Odom, B.J. Odom, Bradon Odom, Billy Odom and Keith Parker.
