William Lynn (Billy) Jones

William Lynn (Billy) Jones, age 60, of Crowder, MS, passed away Monday, 2/24/14. He was the widower of Pearl Gentry Jones. A 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Friday, 2/28/14, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Crowder Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday and continue until service time. Billy was born to Albert O. & Mabel Louise Draughon Hones in Clarksdale, MS on February 22, 1954. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jones was a Technician for 29 years at Green Point Agriculture. Billy was a Veteran of the United States Army. His survivors include one step-daughter, Bridget Jones Ray (Brown) of Wiggins, MS; 3 step-sons, Marty Gentry of Crowder, MS, Gary Gentry of Olive Branch, MS and Ryan Gentry of Oxford, MS; 2 sisters, Kathy Jones Wilson (Jim) of Batesville, MS and Ann Jones Suddath (Jerome) of Marvell, AR; one brother, Robert (Bobby) Albert Jones of Marks, MS; along with three loving grandchildren, Tristan Lane Gentry, Ceasley Gentry and Jerico Ray.
