Shirley K. Childress

Shirley K. Childress, age 78, passed away Sunday morning, June 15, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, 6/18/14, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Shirley was born on June 30, 1935 to George Harold & Beulah Lane Kuebler in Roanoak, VA. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Childress enjoyed playing Bingo in her free time. Those survivors whom she leaves behind include her husband, William Earl Childress of Sardis, MS; 2 brothers, Richard H. Kuebler of Chesapeake, VA and Donald S. Kuebler, Sr. of Chesapeake, VA.
