Sharon Tubb Martindale

Sharon Tubb Martindale, age 53, passed away at her home, in Courtland, MS on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bruce Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until service time at Wells Funeral Home. Sharon was born to Doyle & Joyce Box Tubb in Amory, Mississippi on October 2, 1960. She worked as a Department Manager for Wal-Mart in Batesville for 20 years, having retired in 2007. Sharon was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Batesville, but attended Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope, MS. She was also a member of the Batesville Shriners Club. Mrs. Martindale leaves a loving family behind, including her husband of 34 years, Randy Martindale of Courtland, MS; 2 sons, Chris & Cliff Martindale also of Courtland; her parents, Dolye & Joyce Box Tubb of Charleston, MS; sister, Darlene Evans of Oakland, MS and one brother, Wade Tubb, also of Oakland, MS; and two grandchildren, Hunter Lee Martindale and Jordan Ragsdale.
