James Edward Poole

James Edward Poole, age 71, of Oakland, passed away Tuesday evening September 23, 2014 at Tri-Lakes Hospital in Batesville, Mississippi. James was born on April 27, 1943 to the late James Morrison and Gladys Self Poole of Arkansas. In life he was a heavy equipment operator and worked in this trade until his retirement. Those James leave behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Mary Gertrude Smith Poole of Enid, Mississippi; three daughters, Debbie Chouamon of Pearl, Mississippi, Donna Terry Palmer of Oakland, Mississippi, and Tiffany Poole of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Cassie Biggs of Helena, Arkansas and Shirley Williams of Wynn, Arkansas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, James Edward was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Poole; three sisters, Thelma Jenkins, Peggy McSpurrin, and Ellen Glenn; and three brothers, Pete Poole, Troy Poole and Glenn Poole.
