William L. Parrish

William Leo Parrish, age 88, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 18, 2014 at his home in Crenshaw, MS. Visitation for Mr. Parrish will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday November 22nd at Crenshaw Baptist Church with funeral services held after at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Longtown Cemetery. Reverend Jack Gilbert will officiate. During William's lifetime he proudly served his country in the Navy. He was the Chief of Police in Crenshaw MS for 25 years before his retirement. He later went on to work for Bally's as a security guard. His memory will be cherished by his wife Peggy Joyce Purdon Parrish; two daughters, Jeannine Hall of Crenshaw, MS, and Sandra Cambra of Senatobia, MS; one son, William Leo Parrish, Jr.; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
