Jerry Lofton Buntin, age 66, passed away Tuesday evening, February 3, 2009 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, Ms. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 6, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Enid, Ms. Visitation will begin one hour before services at 1:00 P.M. Friday. Mr. Buntin was born December 19, 1942 in Tallahatchie County, Ms. to Robert R. and Flake Little Buntin. Mr. Buntin is survived by his wife, Geneva Howell Buntin of Batesville, Ms.; one step-daughter, Donna Crosswhite and husband David of Batesville, Ms.; two step-sons, Ronnie Holley of Batesville, Ms., Rodney Holley and wife Teresa of Oxford, Ms.; sister, Jane Buntin Pierce of Nashville, Tn.; one brothers, William Reed Buntin, Sr. of Batesville, Ms. and three granchildren, Dave Crosswhite, Kathleen Holley and Abigail Holley.
