Interment will follow at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Batesville, MS. Mrs. Richardson was born in Quitman County, MS on October 10, 1932 to Johnny & Beatrice Sims French. She was employed with Roper Luggage Company until they closed. Then she went on to work at Lawnboy as a Line Supervisor. And for over 10 years she was a substitute teacher at South Panola High School in Batesville. Mrs. Richardson was a member of the Goodwill Church of God. She was the widow of A.L. Richardson, Sr. Her survivors include: three daughters - Diane R. Heafner of Courtland, MS, Shirley R. Putman of Batesville, MS, and Debbie R. Bell of Courtland, MS; one son: Alford Richardson, Jr. of Batesville, MS and one brother: James Edward French of Jackson, MS. Fifteen Grandchildren and Eleven Great-Grandchildren. Ministers who will officate the service will be Rev. Jerry Hill, Rev. Lucion Young and Rev. Todd Pittman.
