Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.Visitation will be Friday 12/18/2009 from 5-8 pm at Wells Funeral Home.Mr. Davis was born March 27, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee to Hugh Miller and Louise Roberson Davis, Jr.. Emmett was a electricial technician with Parker Hannifin of Batesville, Mississippi also he was a member of the First United Methodist Church.Survivors:Wife- Carrie Ann Cosby Davis- Batesville, Ms.; 2 Sons- Justin Dean and Rusty Robert Davis- Batesville, Ms.; Sister- Deanne Davis- Olive Branch, Ms.; 2-Grandchildren- Carrie Anna Davis & Camille Alexandria Davis.Pallbearers: Bobby Cosby, Mike Cosby, Kevin Cosby, Robbie Cosby, Brandon Cosby, Matthew Cosby, Clint Roberson and Michael Meurrier. Honorary Pallbearers: Sedrick Smith, Donald Gleaton, Kenneth Gleaton, James Spraggin, Anthony Bennett, Dwayne McMillan and Jerry Pearson
