Services will be 2:00 O'Clock P.M. Tuesday 4/6/10 at Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Clay Baker officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, Ms.. Helen was born July 8, 1936 in Cleveland, Tn. to Elzie and Viola Standridge Gurley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pope Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 52 years Thomas L. Martindale of Courtland, Ms.; Son: Randall L. Martindale, Courtland, Ms.; 2 Sisters: Martha Gurley Morris- Atlanta, Ga. and Marie Gurley Orr- Cleveland, Tn.; 2 Grandsons: Chris and Cliff Martindale. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday 4/5/10 at Wells Funeral Home.
