Thomas S. Wilkerson, Sr. age 63, died May 10, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Union Baptist Church in Sardis, MS with Rev. Albert Wilkerson officiating. Interment to follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Wilkerson was born in Coldwater, MS to the late Tyson S. and Katheryn Bailey Wilkerson. He was a member of McIvor Baptist Church and worked for MDOT on the Paint Crew. He is survived by his wife, Betty Forbes Wilkerson of Courtland, MS; daughter, Diane Rene Wilkerson of Courtland, MS; son, Thomas S. Wilkerson, II of Southaven, MS; brother, Reverend Albert W. Wilkerson of Columbus, MS; 2 grandsons, Sean Patrick and Jacob Thomas.
