Funeral Services for Russell will be held at Wells Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, 9/15/2010, at 4:00 p.m. with Dr. Robert Self and Mr. Billy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Batesville, MS. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, 9/14/10, at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born on Feb. 14,1959 in Batesville, MS to Nina Mae Redell & Billie Boyd Williams, Sr. Russell was an electrician for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Arkabutla Lake. He was a Baptist. He is survived by: his daughter: Amanda Joyce Williams Evans of Batesville, MS; 2 brothers: Billy Boyd Williams, Jr. & Carl Neail Hockaday, both of Batesville, MS; 1 grandson: Gabriel Redell Evans of Batesville, MS. The family asks that memorials be sent to Bethany Baptist Academy at 4112 Hubbard Road, Courtland, MS 38620.
