Amy Jenkins Wilson, age 53, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital on North MS in Oxford, MS.
A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. A time of reflections with the family will begin at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service.
Amy was born on October 31, 1972, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and spent her life bringing joy, compassion, and light to everyone around her.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Amy dedicated herself to caring for others, embodying the giving spirit that defined her personality. Known for her outgoing nature, she had a remarkable ability to illuminate any room she entered, making those around her feel valued and loved.
Amy was a devoted mother and grandmother, who held a special place in her heart for all animals. Family and friends will remember her not only for her nurturing spirit but also for her love of life and her remarkable ability to forge meaningful connections with those she encountered along her journey.
She leaves behind her beloved sons, Nelson Jenkins (Braylee) of Booneville, MS, and Wesley Wilson of Batesville, MS; her loving sisters, Emily Brasher, Emma Jolley both of Batesville, MS, Callie Jenkins, of Amory, MS, and Kayla Kendrick of Tupelo, MS; her biological father, Ricky Jenkins of Tuscumbia, AL.; and her treasured grandchildren, Gibson Jenkins and Beckett Jenkins, who were a source of immense pride and joy.
Amy is preceded in death by her parents, Gilmer E. Jolley, Jr. and Rebecca “Becky” Duke Jolley.
Amy Jenkins Wilson will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life.
