Angela Irby Jackson

Angela Irby Jackson, age 58, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at her home in Batesville, MS. She was the wife of Howard Stuart Jackson, Jr.

Services for Angela will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Wells Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Enid.

Angela was born on March 17, 1967 to the late Larry Lee Irby and Mildred Dean Moorman Irby in Charleston, MS. She found great joy in the outdoors, whether it was taking a motorcycle ride, riding in the lake bottoms, or taking camping trips with her children when they were younger. They cherished all the memories made going to the lake and camping.

Angela also loved the beach, where she could soak up the sun and spend time with her loved ones. She also loved working on crafts and gardening. Angela was strong in her faith, and she loved a good bible study group. Her family and friends will remember her for her love of life and vibrant, outgoing personality.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Kimberly Anderson (Chavis Jackson) of Enid, MS, Rodney Anderson (Cortney) of Grenada, MS, and Richie Anderson (Lauren) of Grenada, MS; her sister, Lisa Rogers of Batesville, MS; and two brothers, Ricky Irby of Batesville, MS and Larry Irby (Tosha) of Memphis, TN.

Angela also leaves behind ten grandchildren, whom she all adored, Lane Rice, Landon Rice, TJ Sparks, Remington Anderson, Lance Anderson, Langston Anderson, Nyla Jackson, Destinee Anderson, Corbyn Anderson, and Cooper Anderson.
