Billy Wayne Jones

Billy Wayne Jones age 81, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS on June 29, 2025. 

Billy was born in Marks, MS to the late Clifton and Doshie Woods Jones. He worked as a ranch hand in California before coming back to his home State to retire. Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing, casino trips, watching TV and playing games on his iPad. He was always up for a good family game of dominoes. 

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death his wife, Sandy, as well as two sisters and two brothers. 

Billy is survived by three sisters, Josephine Barlow of Courtland, MS, Betty Simpson of Fresno, CA, Lavonne Reinke of Ellington, FL; two brothers, Paul Jones of Bakersville, CA, and Charles Jones of Kerman, CA; he also leaves behind his step-children and their children; also numerous nieces and nephews. 

Services for Billy will be held at a later date.
