Bobby Shelton

Bobby Scott Shelton, age 79, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2021 at his home in Crowder, MS.

A graveside service followed by an inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. 

Bobby was born on April 9, 1942 to the late Benjamin P. and Letha Mae Wood Shelton in Lambert, MS. He worked as a pipe welder and earlier in life he served in the U.S. Navy.

The family he leaves behind includes his children, Loretta Joy Bramlett Helmes (Dale) of Scottsville, KY., Billy "Bubba" Bramlett, Jr. of Batesville, and Jason Bramlett of Water Valley; two sisters, Vonnie Cox of Olive Branch, MS, and Betty Lucille Sims of Mount Dora, FL; two brothers, William “Bill” Shelton of Memphis, TN, and Kenneth Shelton of Batesville; his grandchildren, Madison Bramlett, Dalton Bramlett, Jason Bramlett, Alison Bramlett, Brandon Bramlett, Mason Bramlett, and Peyton Funderburk; and his caretaker, Rita Bailey of Crowder.
