Cameron Goodwin, age 35, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026 at the Panola Medical Center in Batesville, Mississippi. Born in Batesville, Mississippi, on September 15, 1990, Cameron’s journey on this earth was marked by joy, devotion to his family, and the profound impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Funeral services for Cameron will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, Mississippi. The family will begin receiving friends at 11:00 a.m.
Cameron’s boundless energy and optimism were a trademark of his presence. He lived his life with a spirit that radiated kindness—always eager to meet a new friend, always lending a hand for those in need, and making people laugh, leaving a lasting impression.
Cameron was the proud owner and operator of Goodhaul Trucking Services. His devotion to his business was matched only by his loyalty to his favorite pastimes: cheering on Ole Miss football, he loved being able to brighten someone’s day by one of his many dad jokes. He also enjoyed every opportunity he could get to cook for loved ones. Most importantly, he loved being able to spend time with his kids, and doing any outdoor activity that they wanted to do.
The heart of Cameron’s world was his cherished family. His loving wife, Katelyn Still Goodwin of Crowder, Mississippi. Together they built a home overflowing with love. Cameron’s greatest pride and joy were his children, Milly Kate Goodwin and Cooper Mack Goodwin. Every moment spent with them—whether playing in the backyard, sharing stories at bedtime, or a family vacation—brought him profound happiness. Cameron especially found great joy in being able to coach his son’s baseball team.
Cameron also leaves behind his parents, Tommy and Misti Bryant of Crowder; his brothers, Devin Kirby of Oxford, MS, Ely Bryant (Katie) of Crowder, MS, and Tucker Bryant of Crowder; his grandparents Linda and Bill Brooks of Enid, MS, and Wayne and Deborah Sanders of Batesville, MS; his parents-in-law, JoJo and Cynthia Still of Sardis; and his biological father, Mark Goodwin.
Although Cameron will be deeply missed, his spirit and influence continue to touch the lives of those who knew him best. The laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the memories created will be cherished forever within the hearts of his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cooper Goodwin Tuition Fund c/o North Delta School, 330 Green Wave Lane, Batesville, MS 38606 or you may Venmo to @northdeltaschool.
