Cherri Marie Potts

Cherri Marie Potts, age 71, passed away Friday December 22, 2023 at Crown Healthcare in Eufaula, AL. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends at Wells Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m. 

Cherri was born on October 10, 1952 to Joyce Schoening and the late Carl Schoening in Fort Polk, LA. She was a homemaker throughout her lifetime. 

The family she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two children, John White of Abilene,TX, and Joseph Potts of Dothas, AL; her mother, Joyce Katherine Howard Schoening; her siblings, Carl Schoening of Euless, TX, Charles Schoening of Georgetown, TX, Carla Anderson of Clifton, TX, and Katrina Smith of Shrewsburg, PA; 7 grandchildren, Marshall White, Chase White, Rebecca White, Brantley Potts, Lily Potts, Brayden Potts, and Hayden Potts; and 3 great grandchildren, Aurora White, Hannon White, and Mathew Stokes. 

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Potts.
