Daniel Allen Bryant, Sr. of Batesville, Mississippi, passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on December 27, 1957, in Jackson, Mississippi, Daniel dedicated his life to his family and his career as a construction foreman for Star Construction, where he was well-respected for his work ethic and leadership.
Visitation will be held on June 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Church of God, in Batesville, MS. Funeral service will take place the following day, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at New Hope Church of God, followed by interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sardis.
Daniel was a man of many interests, wholeheartedly embracing the joys of life with a profound love for hunting and fishing. He was a passionate fan of NASCAR and the Miami Dolphins, with an infectious enthusiasm that brought friends and family together for spirited game days. Most importantly, he cherished the moments spent with his family, understanding the value of togetherness and the bonds that tie loved ones.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Becky Davis Bryant; their children, Danielle Jones (Greg), Daniel Allen, Jr., and William Coty Bryant all of Batesville; four beloved grandchildren, Brody Bryant, Jake Bryant, Garrett Jones, and Clayton Jones; sister, Charolette Ann McCachren (John Wayne) and one brother, Samuel David Bryant (Patty) both of Courtland. Daniel's legacy will continue through his family, who will remember him not only for his strength and guidance but also for his ability to create joyous memories.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, John Jasper Bryant, Sr. and Madgeline Townsend Bryant, who instilled in him the values he carried throughout his life. He was also preceded by his paternal grandparents, Johnny Jasper Bryant and Lula Bell Bryant, and maternal grandparents, Harvey Ross Townsend and Gillie Mae Townsend; brother, John Jasper Bryant, Jr. and his nephew, Samuel "Davey" David Bryant, Jr. also greeted him in eternal peace.
Daniel Allen Bryant, Sr.'s warm spirit and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed. His life was a testament to hard work, love, and the importance of family.
