David Christopher Bell, age 38, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at his home in Batesville, MS.
The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 P.M.
Chris was born on July 18, 1987, in Memphis, Tennessee to Debbie Richardson Bell and the late William David Bell. Chris was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and enthusiasm to all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his adventurous nature and his passion for the outdoors.
Chris had a deep love for fishing and spent countless hours immersing himself in nature's serene beauty. He also enjoyed tinkering on race cars, where his hands were always busy. Music was another significant part of Chris's life; he found great solace in listening to country tunes that echoed his personality and values. Additionally, he was an enthusiast of target and archery shooting, where he sought both focus and skill.
In life, Chris cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his devoted mother, Debbie Richardson Bell of Batesville, MS, who has been a source of unyielding love and support. His siblings, Kyra L. Tyson and Justin H. Bell, both of Batesville, MS, joined him in many of his pursuits, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. Chris was also the proud uncle to Samantha Porter and Jason Tyson, who brought him immense joy, as well as a great-uncle to Easton and Winston Raymond.
Chris was predeceased by his father, William David Bell, a loss that shaped his journey and instilled in him a profound appreciation for family bonds.
