In Loving Memory of Mrs. Della Mae Lindsay

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend, Mrs. Della Mae Lindsay.

She was a loving and devoted wife to Jimmy Lindsay, with whom she shared 54 beautiful years of marriage. Their journey together was a testament to love, commitment, family, and strength.

She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Shante (Dino) Stutts and Sherill (Will) Henderson. Her daughters were blessed to experience a mother who was both the sweetest and toughest mom two girls could ever have. She loved her family deeply and was always willing to give of herself to those she loved.

Mrs. Lindsay was preceded in death by her parents, Darthular Norwood and William Norwood, and her beloved grandson, Dion Stutts.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Jimmy Lindsay; her daughters, Shante (Dino) Stutts and Sherill (Will) Henderson; her grandchildren, Dashawn Lindsay, Dezaree Lindsay, Destinee Henderson, DJ Stutts, and Dante Stutts; and her great-grandson, Davion Lindsay.

She also leaves behind a brother, a host of loving sisters, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends, all of whom will forever cherish the love, memories, laughter, strength, and wisdom she shared throughout her life.

Her family will always remember her for the love she gave so freely, the strength she carried, and the special place she held in the hearts of everyone who knew her Although her presence will be deeply missed, her love will continue to live through her family and the generations she helped shape.

 Rest peacefully, Mom. Your love will live in us forever. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.

There will be no services held at this time. . Della will be laid to rest at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS.
