Drake Allen Cook

Drake Allen Cook, infant son of Dustin and Alissa Marie Cook, awoke in the arms of Jesus on Monday, January 29, 2024. 

The family will have a service for Drake Allen at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Goodwill Worship Center near Marks, MS.

Drake was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Shirley and Guy Walker; his paternal great-grandparents, D.C. Cook and Leona Cook and Earl and Etta Jones. 

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Walker Cook, his sister, Leila Mae Cook, his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Lisa Walker, and his paternal grandparents Dennis and Sheila Cook, maternal great-grandparents, Marilyn and Bobby Perry.

Silence is the prayer of most newborn parents, just fifteen minutes or so. But in this moment we’d give anything to hear you cry, to hear your laugh, or just your heartbeat one more time. 

Lucky little one, you got to pass straight through this torturous, yet beautiful, earthly world. We already see you in every sunrise and sunset, and will continue to search for you through the storms, and in the rainbows. 

Our tiny angel, you’re in the best hands that could hold you. Your daddy and I will forever feel the pain of your loss and miss you. But we were blessed to get to love you so much, Drake Allen. We can’t wait for the day we get to meet you.
