Greg Coleman

Gregory Duane Coleman, fondly known as Greg, passed away on October 15, 2025, at North MS Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi at the age of 59.

Greg was born on October 28, 1965 to the late Stanford Eugene Coleman and Nina Lou Fisher Coleman in Sardis, Mississippi. He was a dedicated handyman by trade, renowned for his exceptional carpentry skills. Greg’s talent and versatility allowed him to become a true jack of all trades, as he approached every project with a remarkable level of skill and commitment. Throughout his life, he shared his expertise with family and friends, often helping them with home repairs and improvements.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Greg had a love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying the peacefulness of fishing. In addition, he was an avid pool player. These hobbies not only brought joy to his life but also served as opportunities to forge lasting connections with those around him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his significant other, Deborah West of Sardis, MS; his daughter, Abby Evans (Bubba) of Oxford, MS; his two siblings, Lisa Boothe of Sardis, MS, and Mike Coleman of Courtland, MS; and two grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden Evans; as well as his niece and his nephews, Kara Coleman, Blake Boothe, Daniel Tramel, Mikey Coleman, and Brandon Coleman. 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Gene Coleman.

There will be a private family memorial to celebrate his life.
