Harvey Donaldson, Jr.

Harvey Donaldson, Jr., age 75, passed away July 21, 2018 at the North Mississippi Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. 

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 23, 2018, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon prior top the service on Monday at Wells Funeral Home.

Harvey was born January 12, 1943 in Charleston, MS to the late Harvey and Ruby Ray Donaldson. Harvey was a retired electrician and member of Friendship East Baptist Church near Charleston, MS. He enjoyed working around his home, and in his flower and vegetable gardens. Harvey had a special talent in repairing things. He also loved his furry companion, Sadie.

Harvey leaves behind his wife, Lourice M. Donaldson of Enid, MS; son, Kenneth Donaldson (Martha) of Batesville, MS; four sisters, Bertha Mae Hodges of Grenada, MS, Sue Young of Charleston, MS, Becky Mounce of Oakland, MS, Peggy Smallwood of Oakland, MS; brother, John Donaldson of Charleston, MS. 

Along with Harvey's parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha McGregory Donaldson.
