Helen P. Griffin, 87, passed away on September 25, 2026, at North MS Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.
Born on January 7, 1939, in Bellwood, Alabama, Helen lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and a genuine enjoyment of the world around her. She worked as a secretary for most of her working career, bringing dedication and steady commitment to her work through the years.
Helen truly loved life and found joy in many simple and meaningful pleasures. She enjoyed camping and going to the lake, dancing, sightseeing, and riding her scooter. These interests reflected her lively spirit and her appreciation for adventure, fellowship, and the beauty of everyday moments. She also had a deep love for her family and treasured every moment spent with them, a devotion that remained at the heart of her life.
A woman of faith, Helen was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Her life will be remembered for the love she shared, the happiness she found in time with family, and the joyful energy she brought to those around her.
Those Helen leaves behind include her three sons, Donald G. Griffin (Renee) of Sardis, MS, Michael B, Griffin (Donna) of Coldwater, MS, and Ronald D. Griffin (Christy) of Sardis, MS; two sisters, Mary Lee Pffanenstein of Fayetteville, NC, and Barbara Trammell of Georga; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, James Belk Griffin; and her parents, Pete and Gladys Adams Paramore.
