Holly Sharron Jenkins, age 49, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026 at her home in Batesville, Mississippi.

Funeral services for Holly will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope, Mississippi with the interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, Mississippi. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Holly was born on August 14, 1976 to Rita Willoughby Fisher and the late James Fisher in Jackson, Mississippi. Throughout her life, she embraced various roles, including factory work and serving as a nursing aid at a nursing home. Her true passion was caring for others—a natural caregiver whose kindness touched the lives of many. Holly’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests. As a passionate animal lover, especially fond of dogs, she was known for her generous heart, often taking in stray animals and providing them with the care and affection they so desperately needed.

Holly was also a faithful and cherished member of the Hosanna Family Worship Center. Her dedication to her faith was evident through her active participation in worship, inspiring those around her. Holly’s big heart and genuine warmth made her a beloved figure in her congregation.

The family she leaves behind includes her husband, Robert Jenkins of Batesville, MS; three children, Brittany Fisher of Memphis, TN, Brandon Fisher of Batesville, MS, and Jessica Fisher of Memphis, TN; her sister, Stephanie Mahaffey of Long Beach, MS; her mother, Rita Willoughby Fisher of Gulfport, MS; and four grandchildren, Levi Fisher, Memphis Bradley, Nevaeh Chancellor, and Zola Chancellor. Holly also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Fisher; a daughter, Ashley Whatley; and one brother, David Fisher.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her and were fortunate enough to be part of her journey.
