Imogene Williford, age 91, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 9, 2025, at the BeeHive Assisted Living Home of Batesville, MS.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 14, 2025, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with her interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to her service.
Imogene was born August 1, 1934 in Pope, MS to the late Andrew Oliver and Addie Pearl Selby Wray. Her family established Wray's Chapel Church of God in Pope, MS where she was a member. Imogene was the former owner of the Sugar Shack Restaurant in Batesville, MS.
She is survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews. Angela Wright was her special caregiver and the family would like thank her the care she provided Imogene
Along with her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Bolton; sister, Joan Wray Campbell and her brothers, Norris Wray and Reed Wray.
