Jackie Goad Pearson, age 62, passed away peacefully late Monday evening, August 31, 2020, surrounded by her family at her home near Courtland, MS.

A celebration of Jackie's life will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 3, 2020 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery near Enid, MS. The family will be hosting friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home.

Jackie was born July 16, 1958 to the late Jack Goad and Velma Dahl Goad. Jackie was the owner of Batesville Gun and Pawn and Fox Bail Bond Company. She was always a hard worker and enjoyed running her businesses with her customers in her community. In her spare time, she liked hunting, fishing, and singing karaoke. Jackie was most proud of her family and precious grandchildren.

The loving family she leaves behind includes her children, Paige Evans of Courtland, and Tony Trusty of Batesville; sisters, Robby Goad Griffin of Teasdale, Bonita Goad King (Freddie) of Casilla, and Sherry Goad Bailey of Dallas, TX.; brothers, Donnie Goad of Charleston, Calvin Goad of Casilla; her grandchildren, Jack and Emma Evans.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Doyle Pearson, and one brother, Mike Goad.
