James "Jimmy" Scott

James Windon "Jimmy" Scott, age 79, passed away Tuesday evening, August 17, 2021 at his home in Sardis, MS.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 19, 2021, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will be receiving friends Thursday morning beginning at 11:00 A.M.

Jimmy was born June 8, 1942 in Tate County, MS to the late Tom Nolan and Sarah Elizabeth Wright Scott. He was a faithful and loyal contruction worker for Talbot Brothers Construction Company for thirty-five years.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Pam Mills Scott of Sardis, MS; two daughters, Becky Raburn of Como, MS, Michelle Griffin (Matthew) of Batesville, MS; two sons, Jim Scott (Candy) of Sardis, MS, Eddie Nolan (Melissa) of Sardis, MS; eleven grandchildren, Samantha Raburn, Noah Scott, Joshua Russell, Joseph Alred, Patricia Russell, Shelley Alred, Katie Alred, Kristen Nolan, Jesse Alred, Austin Alred, Chance Welch; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Russell, Tate Rusell, Jaylen Bohanna, Wesley Dulin, Riley Gentry, Ava Rusell, Kahela Dine.

Along with his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, Bubba Russell; four sisters, Annie Johnson, Kaye King, Lucy Holden, Grace Jackson; two brothers, Lawrence Scott and Pinky Scott.
