Jeanne Kiihnl Goforth, age 62, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS with her family at her bedside.

A memorial service for Jeanne will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, August 22, 2020, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.

Jeanne was born September 10, 1957 in Memphis, TN to her cherished parents, the late Herman Willard Kiihnl and Oneida McCachren Kiihnl. She was retired from the City of Sardis where Jeanne served as the City Clerk. Jeanne was a member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Jeanne always enjoyed the simpler things in life. She enjoyed riding Harleys with her husband as well as fishing, camping, boating, visiting the beach, listening to music, dancing and sitting out in the sunshine. She loved to be around her friends and family and have fun. She truly was a kind, caring, free spirited, down to earth person. She was full of life and happy.

Jeanne will be remembered with love by her husband, Mike Goforth of Sardis, MS; her beloved sons, Bobby Davis of Batesville, MS, and Jay Davis (Daisy) of Sardis, MS; her sisters, Kathy Pool (Vince) of Batesville, MS, Jackie O'Conner (Reggie) of Pope, MS, and Jennifer Havas (John) of Sardis, MS; her beloved grandchildren, James Davis and Alysa Davis and her stepdaughter Krystal Goforth. She will be sadly missed by many other family members and a host of many friends.
