Jeffrey Lee Allen

Jeffrey Lee Allen, age 59, passed away Thursday morning, June 19, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service to celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Reece officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Jeffrey was born on March 22, 1966 to the late Gerald and Lula Vee Frasure Allen in Pontotoc, MS.

Before his retirement, Jeffrey made a living as a dedicated truck driver. Throughout his career, he traveled many roads, forming connections and memories along the way.

Jeffrey was not only known for his work ethic but also for his profound love for his family. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating bonds that will forever be cherished. He was a person who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including working outside and his passion for fishing.

A member of the Mt. Olivet Methodist Church, Jeffrey's faith and community were integral parts of his life. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his kindness and especially as a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

The family he leaves behind includes his wife, Jennifer Martin of Batesville, MS; three children, Jenny Rose Arbuckle (Chris), Joshua Jacobs (Mandy), and Jessica Chadwick (Johnathan) all of Batesville, MS; his three sisters, Barbara Allen Lambert of Batesville, MS, Joy Allen Cevera of Batesville, MS, and Ann Coleman (Jim) of Ft. Myers, FL; 8 grandchildren, Faith Davis, Daniel Winters, Christian Winters, Tina Hope Arbuckle, Holly Mae Jacobs, Tony Scott Jacobs, Andrew Michael Chadwick, and Krystin Leann Jacobs; 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is reunited with his two boys, Garrett and Mason Allen; and his two brothers, James “Bo” Allen and Michael Gerald Allen.
