Jennifer Allen-Martin, age 55, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at the Baptist East Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Friends and family are invited to remember and celebrate Jennifer’s life at a visitation on August 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wells Funeral Home. A funeral service honoring Jennifer will be held the following day, August 24, at 10:00 AM in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment following at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, Mississippi.

Jennifer was born on February 26, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee to Tony Ray Martin and the late Virginia Hance Martin. She brought warmth and kindness to all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Professionally, Jennifer contributed her expertise as a medical coder for many years, working alongside various doctors in the healthcare profession.

Through the years, Jennifer’s life was defined by her steadfast love for family and her boundless compassion for others. She gave of herself generously, always prioritizing her loved ones and sharing a heart that was as big as her smile. Her love for people was evident in every interaction, but nowhere was her nurturing nature more apparent than with her. Jennifer was also an avid animal lover, caring for her many dogs, cats, cows, horses, donkeys, and chickens.

Jennifer also found great joy in crafting. She was known for her skilled hand at the saw mill, a testament to her talents in woodworking and her creative spirit.

Jennifer’s faith was evident, as she loved like Jesus and shared her love for the Lord with others. She would be found worshipping on Sunday mornings at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church.

Jennifer is survived by a family whose lives she touched deeply. Her loving son, Josh Jacobs (Mandy) of Batesville, MS; her cherished daughters, Jessica Chadwick (Jonathan) of Batesville, MS, and Paula Dawkins (Scott) of Munford, TN. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Holly, Tony, Krystin “LeeLee”, Andrew, Clayten, Teagan, and Spencer.

Jennifer’s family circle further extends to her devoted father, Tony Martin of Batesville, MS; and her two loving siblings, Barbara Arbuckle of Panama City, FL, and Tim Martin (Heather) of Batesville, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Allen; two sons, Garrett Allen and Mason Allen; and her mother, Virginia Hance Martin.

Loved by many for her kindness, her ability to brighten any room, and her remarkable resilience, Jennifer leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
