Jennifer Marie Sanders

Jennifer Marie Sanders, age 37, passed away in Brownsville, TN. on February 4, 2020.

There will be a memorial gathering held for Jennifer on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 4:30. Rev. Ed Woodall will officiate.

Jennifer was born June 24, 1982 to Finis York Sanders and Joyce Marie Aden Tanner in Memphis, TN. Jennifer was a 2000 graduate of South Panola High School. She graduated from Delta State where she received a Bachelors of Arts and went on to Jackson State University for her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jennifer worked for MS Behavioral Health Services in Batesville as a counselor. She enjoyed art, running and walking, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Finis Sanders of Kenton, TN. and Joyce Tanner of Pope; 2 sisters, Kerry Sanders Lightsey (Brad) and Erika Sanders Whitworth (Austin),  both of Batesville; 2 brothers, Joseph Sanders and Stefan Sanders, both of Pope; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
