Jerry Lee King

Jerry Lee King, of Pope, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston at the young age of 33.

The family will hold a memorial service for Jerry at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 at the Whosoever Church of God in Pope, MS. Rev. Derrick Berry will officiate.

Jerry was born on March 9, 1988 in Batesville, MS. He worked as a tree cutter for Jackson Timber Enterprise.

The family he leaves behind to cherish his memory includes his three children, J’lyn King of Memphis, TN, Zachary King of Batesville, MS, and Annabella “Anna” King of Pope, MS; his mother, Melissa Pitts of Marked Tree, AR; one sister, Ashley Michelle Tutor of Batesville, MS; two brothers, Troy Lynn Smith of Batesville, MS, and Allen Clay Tutor of Sardis, MS.

Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his precious children.
