Jessie Earl Banks

Jessie Earl Banks, age 80, passed away Monday morning, June 25, 2018, at his home in Crowder, MS.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Crowder Baptist Church in Crowder, MS. The family will be receiving friends at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Jessie was born on October 20, 1937 to the late C.D. and Lessie Davis Banks in Calhoun City, MS. During Jessie’s lifetime he worked as a mechanical engineer. He was of Presbyterian faith.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Charlotte Joan Little “C.J.” Banks of Batesville, MS; his children, Brianna Laughter (Roger) of Southaven, MS., Kerin Smith (Daniel) of Coldwater, MS., Debbie Clayton (Robert) of Tishomingo, MS., and Michael Gaines of Batesville, MS.; one grandchild, Jason Smith; 3 step-grandchildren, Chasity Alley (Anthony), Devannah Jones, and Nicole Jones.

Along with his parents, Jessie is preceded in death by one step-daughter and two sisters.
