Jimmy Dale McGaugh, age 73, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at his home near Crowder, Mississippi.

A graveside service for Jimmy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder, Mississippi with Bro. Eddie Painter officiating.

Jimmy spent most of his life working in sales for various different companies such as Frito Lays and C-Spire. He lived a simple life, enjoying the little things. Jimmy had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his two fur babies: Eli and Katie.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anita Rotenberry McGaugh of Crowder, MS, whom he loved deeply. He is also survived by two sister-in-law’s, Glenda B. Rotenberry of Crowder, MS and Donnis McGaugh of Philadelphia, MS; and one brother-in-law, Jessie Rotenberry of Crowder, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie J. McGaugh and Bessie D. Vaughn McGaugh; his brothers, Harold Don McGaugh, Frank McGaugh, Eugene McGaugh, and Billy McGaugh; and three sisters, Peggy Underwood, Cathyrn Kimbrell, and Pat Summerlin.
