Judy Reid

Judy Reid, born on September 21, 1950, in Marks, Mississippi, passed away on August 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

The family would like to invite friends to a memorial gathering for Judy will be from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Friday, August 7, 2026, at Wells Funeral Home. Following the gathering the family will have a private inurnment at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS.

Judy cultivated deep and enduring bonds with her family, especially her beloved sisters, with whom she shared treasured annual beach getaways. These special times, filled with laughter and warmth, became traditions and created lasting memories.

Judy’s greatest joy was found in the company of her grandchildren. She delighted in the simple pleasures of their lives together—playing cards, taking drives with one of her favorite songs on the radio, or simply enjoying each other’s company. The love and laughter exchanged during these everyday moments brought her profound happiness and fulfillment. Her devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and the memories they built together will remain a source of strength and comfort for those she leaves behind.

Judy was also a member of Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope, Mississippi, where her spirit of compassion and faith found a home among friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her two daughters, Gina Lamb (Rusty) of Pope, MS, and Jennifer Ragon (Braun) of Senatobia, MS; her two sisters, Rammie Siltman and Vickie Reid both of Batesville, MS; her brother, Burl Reid (Clara) of Batesville, MS; her step-sister, Linda Allen of Horn Lake, MS; 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter, Ella Kline; as well as 5 nieces and nephews.

Those Judy is now reunited with includes her parents, William Floyd Reid and Jimmie Faye White Reid; her son, Steven Gregory Robertson; one grandson, Hunter Sprouse; her brother, Floyd Linston Reid; one nephew, Kenneth Burl Reid; and her step-brother, Jimmy Wayne Allen.

Judy’s life was a testament to the power of family, love, and tradition. She will be remembered with great affection, and her spirit will forever be a guiding light to those who were blessed to know her.
