Kathy Jones Gerrard

Kathy Jones Gerrard, age 72, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at her home in Marks, MS.

The family will have a memorial gathering Friday afternoon, April 15, 2022, from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. There will be a private inurnment held at Marks Cemetery.

Kathy was born on January 13, 1950 to the late Clifton V. and Kathryn Grant Jones in Memphis, TN. She was originally from a little town in Arkansas called Turrell before residing in Marks and starting a family. Kathy worked in the human resources department for Bunge Corporation in Marks. After her retirement, she spent a lot time doing yard work.

The family left behind to cherish her memory includes her husband of fifty years, Louie Gerrard of Marks, MS; two daughters, Diana Gerrard of Marks, MS, and Lacy Hamilton (Totten) of Lambert, MS; and one grandchild, Deuce Barringer.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Terry Jones and Janet Young.
