Kenneth was born on August 5, 1967, in Batesville, MS to the late Douglas W. and Rosemary Perkins Beard.

Kenneth was a carpenter by trade, and that work reflected the steady, hardworking spirit that marked his life. He found joy in simple and lasting things: deer hunting, watching and supporting South Panola Tiger Football, and caring for his dogs and other animals. Above all else, Kenneth loved his family. Nothing meant more to him than time spent with those he loved, especially his grandchildren, who brought him great pride and happiness.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Beard of Pope, MS, and by his children, Brittany Nicole “Nikki” Beard of Batesville, MS, Erik Mason Beard of Southaven, MS, and Tyler Keith Beard of Lake Cormorant, MS. He also leaves behind his brother, David Beard of Oxford, MS. Kenneth’s memory will be treasured by his eight grandchildren, Landen Mason Beard, Kaylie Grace LaPorte, Lillian Grace Shook, Weston Lee Beard, Wynleigh Lee Beard, Paisley Jean Beard, Charlotte Rose Beard, and Katherine Noelle Beard. His family was the center of his life, and the love he gave them will remain a lasting part of each of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas W. Beard, and his mother, Rosemary Perkins Beard.
