Lamar Barker

Lamar Barker, age 66, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi.

Lamar was born on March 3, 1959 to the late Raymond Lamar Barker, Sr. and Faye Woolbright Barker in Marks, Mississippi. Throughout his life, he spent many years on the road as a truck driver. Lamar lived a simple life, enjoying the little things in life.

Those he leaves behind include his partner, Rosemary Jackson of Senatobia, MS; his two children, Sydney Massey (Michael) and Ray Barker both of Senatobia, MS; his sister, Debbie Montgomery of Winona, MS; his brother, Granville Barker of Starkville, MS; and four grandchildren, Tucker Massey, Piper Massey, Noah Barker, and Jaxson Barker.

A memorial service for Lamar will be held at a later date.
