Lorine G. Bradley, age 85, passed away at her home in Horseshoe Bend, AR. on July 23, 2025. Lorine, formerly of Courtland, MS., was the widow of Grover C. Bradley.

Funeral services for Lorine will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at New Hope Church of God in Batesville with the family receiving friends beginning at 2:00. Lorine will be laid to rest beside her husband at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS.

Lorine was born in Delhi, LA. to the late Brealand Garrett and Effie Rosa Lee Junkins Garrett on February 26, 1940. Lorine and her late husband Grover lived in the Courtland community for almost 30 years. She was a member of New Hope Church of God in Batesville, MS. Lorine worked as an administrative assistant for Tate County Schools in Senatobia, MS until retirement.

Outside of her professional life, Lorine was deeply engaged in her home and family. Her proudest accomplishments were her children, as she firmly believed that family came first. She dedicated herself to fostering a warm and loving environment, where her family could thrive and create lasting memories together.

Lorine found joy in a variety of hobbies and interests. She took great pleasure in housekeeping and nesting, creating a welcoming space for her loved ones. Gardening was more than just a pastime for her; it was a way to connect with nature and provide fresh vegetables for her family, showcasing her skills in canning as well. Additionally, she relished camping trips that brought the family closer together, and her cooking skills were renowned, with each meal reflecting love and care.

In addition to her parents and husband Grover, Lorine was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Guy; one brother, Brealand Garrett II, and her twin nieces, Glenda Green and Brenda Furlow.

The loving family Lorine leaves behind includes her children, Janice (Larry) Kirby, Rebecca Bearden, Ernest (Lisa) Bearden, Ronnie (Sandy) Bradley, Charles Bradley, Michele (Ken) Herring; her grandchildren who she adored, Rockel (Greg) Renfroe, Brooke (Donald ) Burch, Ashley (Thomas) Sartino, Eli Herring, and Elly Herring; great grandchildren, Onica Bier, Bryson Taylor , Ayden Burch, Allye Lynch, Brayden Lynch, Jason Bradley, Charles Michael Bradley, and Kirkland Bradley; and two great-great grandchildren, Waylon Bier and Myles Hutchison.

Her gentle spirit, nurturing heart, and dedication to family and community will be remembered dearly by all who knew her. Lorine Bradley leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that will continue on in the hearts of those she loved.
