Michael Kenneth Coleman, affectionately known as Mike or "Cheeto", passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at the age of 65.
Mike was born on August 14, 1961 to the late Stanford Eugene Coleman and Nina Lou Fisher Coleman in Sardis, Mississippi. He spent the majority of his life working as a truck driver, a career that took him down many roads and across countless miles. Through his dedication, he exemplified the values of hard work and commitment. Mike worked for Mr. James Russell for many years, considering him a very good friend.
Outside of his profession, Mike found joy in the simple pleasures. He enjoyed working in his yard, tending to each detail with care and pride. Golfing and fishing were two other favored pastimes, bringing him moments of peace and fellowship.
Mike’s memory will be honored and kept alive by those who knew and loved him. His surviving family includes his three children, Michael Kenneth “Mikey” Coleman, Jr., Brandon Dale Coleman, and Kara Alana Coleman all of Waterford, MS; his sister, Lisa Boothe of Sardis, MS; his two nephews and one niece, Daniel Tramel, Blake Boothe, and Abby Evans. He also leaves behind an aunt, Robbie Appleton and a host of cousins.
Along with his parents, he is now rejoicing with his two brothers, Greg and Gene Coleman.
“Cheeto” will be remembered by his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering work ethic to all who knew him.
