Nagin Bhaichand Patel

Nagin Bhaichand Patel, age 78, passed away in Hernando, MS on July 20, 2025. He was the husband of Niru Patel of Hernando. 

Funeral services for Nagin will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at Wells Funeral Home. 

Nagin was born in India to the late Bhaichand and Shanta Patel. He moved to the United States where he became a business owner in the Lodging industry.

Nagin is survived by his wife Niru Patel of Hernando; his children, Nila Patel (Hemansu) of Olive Branch, Lina Patel (Ailesh) of Hershey PA., Bhumika Patel (Manoj) of Danbury, CT., Amita Patel (Dakshesh) of Tampa, FL., Sima Patel (Amit) of East Lyme, CT.; four sisters, four brothers, nine granddaughters, Khushi, Komal, Anika, Ayushi, Shreya, Bianca, Maya, Ananna, Emma and one grandson, Kiyaan.
