Patricia R. "Pat" Keeton

Patricia R. “Pat” Keeton, 80, of Oxford, Mississippi, passed away on September 15, 2026, in Oxford.

The family will be having a private family graveside service.

She was born on June 4, 1946, in Marks, Ms to the late Anderson R. and Alice Louise Winters Rico.

Pat will be remembered as a woman who found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. During her working years, she was a factory worker, and she carried that same steady spirit into the way she lived and cared for those around her. She enjoyed attending drag races, shopping, watching wrestling on television, fishing, and cooking out. More than anything, she loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose presence brought her great happiness. Pat also attended New Hope Church of God in Batesville, Mississippi.

She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to cherish her memory. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy “Patty” Williams and her husband, Barry, of Courtland, Mississippi; her son, Mike Keeton of Enid, Mississippi; her sister, Jackie Shaw and her husband, Donnie, of Batesville, Mississippi; and her brother, Richard Rico and his wife, Linda Carol, of Enid, Mississippi. Each of them carries forward treasured memories of Pat and the love she shared so freely.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anderson Rico; her mother, Alice Louise Winters Rico; and her brother, Garland Rico.

Patricia R. “Pat” Keeton will be remembered with love for her warmth, her enjoyment of life, and the special way she gathered family together. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.
