Peggy Coleman Floied

Peggy Coleman Floied passed away on July 25, 2025, in Senatobia, Mississippi. Born on September 8, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, Peggy dedicated her life to caring for others, exemplified by her commitment to the nursing profession after graduating from the Methodist School of Nursing in 1974.

Peggy was a proud member of Nesbit Presbyterian Church, where her faith and community ties flourished. She found joy not only in her profession but also in her volunteer work with St. Jude's Children's Hospital, where she made a significant impact through her dedication to helping children in need.

Peggy is survived by her son, and Eric Stark. Her siblings—Pat McMahon, Jimmy Coleman, Janie Collier, and John Coleman—will carry her memory forward, as will her beloved grandchildren, Luke and Emma Stark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald Hilton Coleman and Mary Helen Martin Coleman and daughter, Karen Stark Pennington.

Peggy will be lovingly remembered for her warm spirit, unwavering dedication, and the countless lives she touched throughout her journey.

There will be a memorial service held to honor her life at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 6th at The Villages of Grove Park, 1125 McIngvale Road, Hernando, MS. Family and friends are invited to attend.
