Peggy Rotenberry Turner

Peggy Rotenberry Turner, age 84, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Azalea Commons Senior Living Facility in Batesville, MS.

A graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS. Rev. Keith Bolen will be officiating the service.

Peggy was born on May 25, 1938 to the late Doyle Rotenberry and Marguerite McCullar Rotenberry in Yalobusha County, MS. She was a homemaker for most of her lifetime and enjoyed keeping a clean home as well as a nice kept yard. Peggy love to work out in her yard and tend to her flowers. She was also a member of Crowder Baptist Church. Peggy cherished all the times she got to spend with her grandchildren.

The family left behind to cherish her precious memory include her two children, Stacy Gee (Brian) of Como, MS, and Steve Turner (Robbie) of Sardis, MS; three sisters, Jo Durham of Batesville, MS, Faye Nolan of Water Valley, MS, and Diane Bailey (Larry) of Batesville, MS; 3 grandchildren, Summer McBride, Stephanie Kimzey, and Brooke Turner; and 4 great grandchildren, Madilyn, Colton, Grady Ray, and Andi Kate.

Along with her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Turner; two sisters, Kay Marberry and Elaine Mixon; and two brothers, Charlie Rotenberry and Mac Rotenberry.
