Phillip "Phil" Larry Maxcy, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his daughter's home in Batesville, Mississippi.

A graveside service for Phil will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, Mississippi.

Phil was born on November 18, 1954 in Marks, Mississippi to the late William Edward Maxcy and Rosa Herring Maxcy. He retired from Case International, where he served with distinction as the parts manager. His career was marked by commitment and integrity, reflecting a work ethic that earned him respect and admiration throughout his professional life.

Beyond his career, Phil found great joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, tending to his tractor, and cultivating his garden.

Above all, Phil treasured his family. He was deeply proud of his two daughters, Kristin Jenkins of Batesville, Mississippi, and Rebecca McCachren (Matthew) of Sardis, Mississippi, and his only grandson, Parker Jenkins of Batesville. The bonds he shared with them were a source of immense joy and pride throughout his life.

Phil's love extended to his wife, Patsy Maxcy of Enid, Mississippi. He was also cherished by his siblings, Eleanor Bailey (Glen) of Batesville and Edward Maxcy (Betsy) of Tupelo, Mississippi, as well as his step-sons, Tracy Williams (Casey) and Mark Williams (Robin), both residing in Batesville. A beloved uncle, Phil's presence enriched the lives of numerous nieces and nephews, who will remember him fondly.
